With this pamphlet, readers will get a comprehensive look at Salvia Divinorum. Salvia is a recreational drug, a fast acting hallucinogenic plant that can distort sensations of time and space. Some studies suggest that, over time, salvia use may contribute to a condition called dysphoria. Dysphoria is characterized by feelings of depression, discontent, as well as restlessness. Salvia is illegal in a number of foreign countries and in many American states.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) for Teens, 1.5 percent of 12th graders say they use salvia. People under the influence of salvia can be a real danger to themselves. It also covers and the potential for overdose.
